The magic comes from 15 years of development of Castelli's Perfetto (Italian for “perfect”) jacket. The Perfetto RoS 3 represents the biggest leap since the original Gabby thanks to the exclusive new Polartec® AirCore™ fabric with a PFAS-free semi-permeable membrane.
In a quest for continuous improvement, RoS 3 is more revolutionary than evolutionary. It is significantly more breathable and waterproof than its predecessor. It is also more flexible than its predecessor, allowing for a close fit without feeling tight. Provides significant ventilation thanks to zip-pered ventilation holes on the chest, as well as a two-way zipper that can also be opened from the bottom. It is slightly thinner than its previous versions, making it better in moderate temperatures, but the addition of insulating layers will keep you comfortable even in very cold conditions.

Material a strih je tip top sedi ako druha koža - pocit po obleceni je akoby som mal na sebe dres s dlhym rukavom nie softshell bundu. Velkost XL na moju vysku 188 cm je tak akurat, jedine rukavy su dlhsie a to mam standardne opacny problem. Vrecka su velmi dobre umiestnene, o nieco vyssie ako som zvyknuty a aj ked tam dam mobil alebo vestu vobec netahaju a neovisaju. Mysleli aj na prdlezny chrbat, ktory ochrani pred sprchou od zadneho kolesa v dazdi. Po bokoch su vetraky na zips, ktore su tam v podstate zbytocne, kedze bunda je tak tenka a priedusna, ze ani raz som nemal dovod ich pouzit.

Mal som ju zatial na 5 vyjazdoch na cestaku pri teplotach 9-15C a miernom az stredne silnom vetre. Prve 3 vyjazdy som ju testoval len so zakladnou vrstvou (Brynje SuperThermo) a pokial som isiel v nizsej intenzite a velmi sa nepotil, tak fungovala dobre. No pri vyssej intenzite uz pot az tak dobre neodvadza a pri vyssej rychlosti sa pocit chladu vyrazne zvysi, cize neskor som celkom slusne vymrzol. Mozno pri jazde na MTB, kde sa standardne jazdi v nizsich rychlostiach, to moze byt pocitovo lepsie, no na cestaku vo veternych podmienkach jedna vrstva pod nu urcite nepostacuje. Dalsi vyjazd som skusil pridat pod nu este tenky natelnik, ale teplotny komfort po vacsom spoteni sa velmi nezlepsil.
Posledny vyjazd som dal len jednu vrstvu termo tricko Brynje a zobral so sebou aj vestu z tenkeho priedusneho materialu bez nejakej vetruvzdornej membrany s Polartec Alpha. Tato kombinacia konecne zafungovala naparadu aj po spoteni vo vyssich rychlostiach vyraznom vetre a slabom dazdi.
Mozno by pomohlo keby vyrobca pridal extra material v oblasti hrudnika alebo pouzil v tejto exponovanej casti nejaku tepelnu izolaciu napr. za mna najlepsie fungujucu vnutornu vrstvu Alpha rovnako od Polartec. Bocne vetraky na zips by v takomto prevedeni uz mali vyznam.
Celkovo sa jedna o velmi dobru prechodnu bundu/dres, ktora vdaka materialu a strihu sedi ako uliata, nikde netaha a necitis sa v nej akoby si mal na sebe plechove brnenie. Kebyze oblast hrudnika lepsie funkcne vyladia, tak by bola najuniverzalnejsia bunda aku mam a dal by som jej plnych 5 bodov.

Ale ako som bundu dlhsie pravidelne nosil v premenlivych jesennych podmienkach, tak stacilo vychytat par detailov a funguje fakt perfektne. Pri nizsich teplotach a silnom vetre staci, aby ju nepodfukovalo cez rukavy a golier, cize staci dat rukavice a nejaky nakrcník, Takto len s jednou zakladnou vrstvou ju mam vyskusanu v rozsahu 5-15 C a nema chybu. Akurat ako uvadza Castelli je urcena na jazdenie vo vysokej intenzite, cize pokial sa ide nizsie tempo a je menej ako 10 C pocit chladu sa vyrazne zvysi. No staci mat so sebou vestu a vtedy ani nie je problem zastavit sa aj na kavu.
